The goal of this course is to help you unravel your own story through music and write lyrics in your own language.
The lyrics aren't just words; they flow along with the song and are an important element that conveys emotion.
Each song has a different form of lyrics, and the mood and emotion of the song changes depending on how the story is told.
Some lyrics use abstract language to create an atmosphere, while others provide a sense of immersion through narration. Also, some lyrics emphasize rhymes to make them easy to sing along, and others have a strong message and have a social resonance.
The important thing is, “What kind of emotion should this song convey?” , 'Which method works best? ' It's a process of thinking about It's not just about writing lyrics; it's about creating lyrics while considering the color of the song.

Each song has a different writing method and attitude, but they all have three elements in common that I consider most important when writing lyrics. It's “people, space, imagination.”
In the lecture, I'll write my own lyrics and teach you how to make a song that makes you imagine the space well.
The reason music is so powerful is that it allows us to move anywhere we want, no matter where we are.
And music, which makes us think of a space, has the power to touch our emotions and evoke nostalgia.
In the final chapter, I also prepared how to make a living and breathing song using ambient recordings made by myself.
The equipment isn't important; the sense of being able to accurately depict the sound I want is more important

Hello, I'm Woo Jiwon, a singer-songwriter.

As a member of the acoustic duo Hale, she wrote and composed music for many musicians, including the Taiwanese band Imeanus and the shoegazing band Desert Flower.
