I'd like to compare Melmel's lecture to a Balmuda toaster that saves even dead bread. This is because I was able to bring out pictures that I thought were bad through this lecture.

First of all, I really like taking pictures, but I usually use Auto mode because I find it difficult to operate the camera. However, when I came back from my trip and tried to edit, there were many photos that were out of focus or were shaky. Seen from the viewfinder, it looked fine.

Also, I don't like holding the camera when I see distorted pictures. I bought a camera because I wanted to leave good quality images, but after all, the only photos I kept were photos with less distortion or shakiness, and photos taken with my phone at the time.

However, while practicing through Melmel's lectures, I'm making use of photos that have been hidden on the external hard drive for a long time. In particular, the method of correcting distorted photos was very helpful. How to manage photos with Lightroom, and even create filters and apply them in batches!

If you used to press the delete button even for dark photos, now it's easy to revive your heart. It's still difficult to retouch the desired look according to the picture, but I want to keep practicing. It was late, but Melmel's lecture was the best consumption in 2020. Thank you so much:)

Before the lecture, when it came to taking pictures, I had the feeling of randomly pulling in a cell phone camera and picking up one out of 100 pictures. However, after listening to Melmel's lecture, it was nice to have the time and vision to carefully examine the light and shadows before shooting, and to think one more time about things related to composition, such as what kind of object I am trying to photograph! Thanks to this, I think it was a time where I was able to learn what kind of photos I enjoyed taking. My dream is to eventually become a graphic designer, and I was able to better understand the elements of photography based on this course, which helped me a lot! Thank you, Melmel, for giving me the courage and confidence in my perspective on the world even though it was a course I took to learn about photography!! :)

Everything from the first lesson to the last lesson was very informative and fun! ✨ The story of Melmel who told me the details of Photoshop, Lightroom, iPhone, dslr, and photographers, magazines, follow accounts, and websites from around the world to be inspired and unraveled through them was really meaningful! Since Melmel's class has been revived, I've even paid for a premium to take it again. 🤦🏻 (The video quality of the class was very good, and the examples and explanations were varied and detailed, so it was like watching a movie instead of a class. 🎞) I also recommend photography as a casual hobby or for those who want to take a deeper look at photography! I was satisfied with everything! 🤍

I remember listening to Lecturer Jung Mel Mel's lecture in such detail and ease that it was easy for me to understand even if I was a beginner, so I felt comfortable listening to the lecture. Of course, there are difficult words, but I think it was easier to understand because they explained all of them in the video and the examples shown in pictures were appropriate. Also, even though it was an online course, the feedback was kindly answered, just like an offline course, so I was able to listen to the lecture even more comfortably. However, it's a pity that I wasn't able to complete the course because I was busy with work... but I was so satisfied that I would like to sign up for the course again if they started another course next time:)

I learned a lot by telling me in detail about how to take pictures, the editing process, and photography as a hobby as a job. Taking pictures is still not easy, but I want to keep taking pictures and have an eye for a bigger world. I want to set up a skin-type blog that Melmel told me about and display my photos according to the mood. I didn't have enough courage to try various things, but the course brought me one step closer to photography. Thank you for creating an interesting way to learn information through thoughtful videos!!

I was only interested in photography and didn't know the details, but after listening to a lecture from someone who works as a photographer, I was able to clearly understand what to focus on and what are the basics.

One of my memorable lessons was making an Instagram panorama using Photoshop. The visible results came out more easily and quickly than I expected, and I enjoyed listening without losing interest in the lesson.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about the features of the Photoshop Lightroom mobile phone app, such as retouching! :)

You Don't Need a Professional Camera

Will a better camera really make you a better photographer? The answer is 'no'. Just using your phone or digital camera you already have will do. Good photography is not about how expensive the camera is; it's all about how you utilize technical details.

All about Lighting

Light is one of the most important element in photography, and understanding light and paying attention to it is one of the quickest ways to improve photography.

Light comes from a variety of sources, both natural and artificial. Based on its source and position, you can create different moods and atmospheres in one picture. Look for the light and capture the most dramatic scene created by the light.

Different Point of View

Try looking at something from a very close-up or far away view. You may see things that you don't usually see. In this class, you will learn how to use "crop" function and create complete two different photos from a same angle. Depending on which part is cut out and which part is emphasized, one picture may look completely different.

Hello, I’m Melmel Chung, a photographer. I take pictures with my colleagues in Seoul. I usually take pictures of still spaces and figures and sometimes still lifes. We use easy-to-remember nicknames that represent our nationality, gender, and dispositions. Travel and photography are my oldest hobbies. In the past, I worked as a web designer and recorded each day through blogs and SNS, the months, the days, and sometimes the occasional special week I spent traveling through photos. There were many amateur photographers, but with a little bit of luck, I was able to turns my hobby into a career

Creating an image with different clients is obviously difficult and rewarding. My studio, Texture on Texture, works with brands and media of different sizes and orientations such as AMOREPACIFIC, SM, COS, AESOP, Ride, Hyundai Card, Wework, UrbanLike Magazine, and PostSeoul Magazine.

We also run Texture Shop, a service that collects and sells materials other than client projects. Sometimes these two activities combine to open an exhibition / popup.

My favorite thing is to take pictures that I want to take without someone's request. When I introduce myself, I often say "I want to contain natural things, beautiful things, and sometimes meaningless things." These three are the things that I always want to capture with my camera. My first book, Letour: Sicily, is a collection of pictures that I enjoyed the most. I picked up a small camera and took pictures of my loved ones here and there in a strange city.

Lifting the camera. At first, it was a small hobby, but the accumulation of pictures led me to meet many people. I’ve come to realise that a ' job you love' actually has great power. I wanted to create Class101 lessons to share my habits, my job, maybe a life-changing picture, and the joy of touching and spreading happiness through photos.
