Hello, I'm KEXA, a freelance illustrator.
Since I was a kid, I've always wanted to live by painting. However, I went to work because I thought it would be difficult in reality. As I got more information, I learned that living as a cover writer and illustrator for a web novel isn't just a long way off. I worked on my portfolio while commuting slowly, and now I'm thankfully living as a cover illustrator! I started the class because I wanted to help people not wander like me.
What and how much do I need to prepare?
I thought it would be great if I could draw a cover for a web novel I've always enjoyed watching, but I didn't know “where to start” or “what and how much to prepare.” It was hard to find a place that taught people who had nothing “how to get started.”

An aspiring student who had a really hard time studying basic skills
Compared to wanting to be a cover writer, I was an aspiring student who really hated studying basic skills. I felt that watching a match with basic skills wasn't my path, so I'd rather start thinking about ways to support my painting. Who I am now In addition to the background, I am working by removing various props and effects from the photo. I hope it will be helpful for those who have similar concerns as me, and those who want to create their own paintings faster.
From genre-specific planning to cover finishing,
I've captured all my know-how
In this class, I'm going to work on the covers of two genres I work on the most: romance fantasy and contemporary art. We'll learn how to proceed from cover planning to finishing, find out how to organize an efficient portfolio, and show you how to submit it. We've prepared everything from backgrounds, props, and typography, so all your classmates should prepare with passion!

I too had a dream of living as an illustrator. I thought I had to be a celebrity on social media to be outsourced, and I had to have a large portfolio to do a series of illustrations.
